Your ability to manage several employees in multiple departments through hands on leadership will provide an environment where both our employees and our guests can thrive. This position will involve traveling 80% of the time.

  • Hire, train, supervise, motivate, counsel and recognize the maintenance staff.
  • Oversee daily operations, sustainability programs, inventory, ordering, and scheduling all within a set department budget.
  • Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotel and inspect work completed by others to ensure quality and standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot various technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc.
  • Oversee safety programs and key control throughout the hotel.
  • Greet and assist guests with all requests. Proactively garner relationships with long term and repeat guests to develop loyalty and maintain a high level of satisfaction.
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Previous maintenance and supervisory experience in a hotel or property management setting is required.
  • Previous supervisory responsibilities.
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
  • Comply with InnVentures Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Perform other duties as requested by manager


Salary Range $65,000-$75,000/year
