They propose countermeasures that provide the greatest protection at the best value for the system’s entire lifecycle
BAE Systems is currently seeking creative, innovative problem solvers who are able to analyze, assess, anticipate, defend, and react to current and future attacks. Candidates should be capable of working in a team environment designing and implementing innovative protection schemes with rapidly evolving technologies used in various applications throughout the company

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
This role involves understanding adversary capabilities to reverse engineer and exploit hardware, firmware, or software and requires at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics plus 10-12 years of work experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $143000 - $243100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures
- Implement and test security countermeasures according to the guidance provided by the U.S. Government
- Work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies
- Provide our customers with sophisticated, defense-in-depth security solutions

- Defining System Architectures for Electronics Warfare, Electro-Optical/Infrared, or Weapons/Munitions technologies
- Defining and pursuing strategic technology thrusts
- Defining policy, processes, or best practices in support of contract execution
- Representing BAE Systems to the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent
- Assessing Critical Program Information
- Assessing system, subsystem, and component attacks and proposing countermeasures based on various phenomenology
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Our team analyzes adversary attacks and proposes hardware, software, and systems engineering countermeasures capable of providing defense-in-depth. We are very interested in candidates with any of the following experience:
- Cryptographic algorithm implementation
- Configuring security features of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) S-SOTA components
- Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
- Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization
- Implementing and configuring communications security protocols
- Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
