The Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with extensive IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration experience. This role involves scoping, designing, and executing IT projects—from building network environments and migrating servers to establishing Microsoft environments. You'll collaborate with our technical team and clients to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable IT solutions.

What You’ll Do

• IT Infrastructure & Network Design: Architect and implement secure, high-performance network environments, including firewalls, switches, and wireless solutions.
• Server & Cloud Migrations: Lead on-prem to cloud (Azure, Microsoft 365) and server migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions.
• Microsoft Environments: Deploy and configure Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments, ensuring best practices in security and performance.
• Project Management: Scope, plan, and execute projects on time and within budget, working closely with internal teams and clients.
• Technical Assessments & Proposals: Conduct site surveys, assess IT environments, and develop technical proposals and project scopes.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain detailed project documentation and provide technical training or handoffs to support teams.

What You Need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems engineering.
• Deep knowledge of firewalls, networking (VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi), and security best practices.
• Experience migrating and managing Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based IT solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT environments, diagnose performance issues, and implement solutions.
• Strong project management skills—ability to scope projects, track progress, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Excellent technical and business writing communication skills.
• Experience with MSP tools a plus (i.e. ConnectWise, SentinelOne, Threatlocker, etc.)
• Certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, or similar) preferred but not required.
