Position Overview

The Technical Support Specialist will:

• Provide technical support to the Operations Manager, District Sales Manager, Production Manager, and Service Manager as well as the Sales Support Representative.
• Handle day-to-day technical needs including shop drawings, wiring schematics and written specifications.
• Develop new and/or organize the existing library of shop drawings and associated written specifications.
• Gain and maintain the appropriate professional and technical knowledge necessary to successfully perform the role.
• Partner with leadership to understand the impact of emerging technologies, i.e. AI, to implement AI into SiteOne Green Tech technical processes
  
  

Skills We Are Seeking

• 3-5 years of technical experience preferred
• Knowledge of pumps and pump controls, especially variable frequency drives. Familiarity with landscape irrigation preferred
• Proficiency in 3-D drawing preferred; specifically SolidWorks, Inventor or Fusion 360
• Proficiency in 2-D drawing preferred; specifically AutoCAD
• Ability to compile documentation using Adobe Acrobat i.e. project submittal requirements
• Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, time management skills
• Proficiency in AI tools and process improvement
• Ability to think quickly and make decisions
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Ready and willing to learn and adapt, and encourage others to learn and adapt, new technologies and ways of working
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred
