Duties

• You will serve as a Technician Team Lead (Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Manager) responsible for providing project management for government and contractor teams.
• You will provide engineering assistance in the maintenance, installation, fabrication, testing and evaluation (may include research and development), sustainment, and troubleshooting of the installed alteration on Naval platforms, systems, and sites.
• You will provide technical expertise and team leadership over the projects in the various fleet concentration areas, maintain awareness of global and/or pertinent issues.
• You will provide oversight of all phases of tasking related to installations specified in applicable alteration/shipboard change documents.
• You will ensure the Alteration Installation Team (AIT) is in compliance with NSWC PHD AIT Manager Quality Assurance Program (AMQAP) and specified technical/quality requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical electronics engineering guidance and expertise to coordinate projects during ship combat systems modernization and integration events for a naval warfare program.
