BOGUS BASIN RECREATIONAL ASSOCIATION INC

The Terrain Park Night Supervisor is responsible for helping the Terrain Park Director manage the safe operation and maintenance of all Bogus Basin terrain parks while providing quality customer service.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Assume responsibility for the maintenance and care of all Bogus Basin terrain parks
- Help with the training and managing of all Terrain Park Diggers
- Help with the construction and setting of features for the parks
- Rake out and maintain all features of the terrain parks throughout the day
- Maintain all entrance signage, fencing, and rope-lines
- Be an ambassador of the parks and Bogus Basin to our guests
- Be the first point of contact and assist Ski Patrol with park injuries
- Immediately inform the Terrain Park Director of any condition or occurrence which may adversely affect the safety of the operation
- Present a professional and positive image of the company while interacting with guests and other Bogus Basin employees
Non-Essential Functions of the Job
- Assist in helping Ski Patrol within the park, as necessary
- Perform other related tasks, as necessary
- Clean Terrain Park locker room and bathrooms
- Passionate about Bogus Basin’s mission
- Terrain park maintenance experience (2 years preferred)
- Ability to stand, balance, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to use hand tools including a rake, pulaski, shovel
- Ability to ski or snowboard at an expert level
- Must be able to test terrain park features at the direction of the Terrain Park Director (Jumps, rails, boxes, tables, etc.)
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds above shoulder level
- Ability to safely ski or snowboard with tools up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Working Conditions
- Majority of time spent in an outdoor environment
- Position is regularly exposed to inclement weather
- Working around heavy machines and equipment
Personal Appearance
When in the public eye, your personal appearance is an important part of the product we offer our guests. You should come to work neatly groomed and in uniform. In addition to the uniform jacket, the Terrain Park Supervisor will need the following equipment:
- Gloves or mittens, durable and in good repair
- Black ski or snowboard pants
- Helmet and eyewear
- Thermal wear, sufficient clothing for warmth
- Appropriate equipment for alpine skiing/snowboarding that is up-to-date, in good repair and in safe working condition
