Description

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Tester at its new location in McKinney, TX. This position will be responsible for performing electrical tests as directed by drawings, schematics, and manuals on electrical components and assisting in other mechanical assembly operations.

Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, McKinney, TX, in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China

Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Set up and calibrate test equipment per written operating procedures.
• Test electronic component parts, compare instrument readings with specifications, record test data and plots test results, reconnect disconnected leads.
• Follow test procedures as outlined on internal drawings and specifications.
• Use multimeters, inductance bridges, hi-pot meters and custom equipment to perform testing.
• Perform visual inspection of electronic components.
• Test small and large volume production of electronic components.
  
  

Qualifications include an associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation Technology, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
