What You’ll Do

As a Title Officer, you’ll play a vital role in our real estate transactions by investigating public records to confirm property ownership and identify any encumbrances or title issues. Your work ensures every transaction is clear, secure, and compliant. You’ll interact with escrow officers, clients, and management to provide accurate, timely title commitments and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough title searches and examinations of public records.
  • Prepare and issue title commitments in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Communicate status updates to escrow officers and clients professionally and promptly.
  • Handle high call volumes with professionalism and poise.
  • Use industry-standard software to complete searches, abstracts, and reports.
  • Maintain organization across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Title License
  • Proficiency in title & abstracting software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with the ability to work overtime as needed
  • A positive attitude and a team-focused mindset
