About The Opportunity
Due to steady growth in our business, we are expanding our channel management team looking after our trade & reseller customers and sales team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Trade & Reseller, your primary responsibility of this exciting role is to lead, develop and mentor both direct and in-direct reports to deliver the trade & reseller channel sales budget for the region. You will work closely with the branch network, Regional Manager, and your team to ensure NAPA is the first-choice supplier.

As Channel Manager – Trade & Reseller your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Manage the channels in line with Napa's Customer Value Proposition, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to meet the requirements of the strategic business plan.
- Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring and performance management of your team, both direct & in-direct reports.
- Build strong relationship and engage with our top tier customers.
- Develop and deploy the trade & reseller channel sales plans for your region.
- Attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows & Product Training as required.
To be considered for this opportunity, your history will demonstrate:
- Automotive Electrical
- Automotive Air Conditioning
- General Mechanical
- Prior achievement in areas of responsibility, specifically sales results, customer relationship development and territory management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate, influence decisions, facilitate outcomes and achieve results.
- Sound business acumen and numerical competency.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads and
- Outgoing nature with a positive and motivated approach who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and can work calmly under pressure.
