In this role, you will lead a training facilitation team, supporting a fast-paced Customer Experience Center (CXC) for Nelnet Diversified services (NDS). Consult and partner with NDS lines of business to align goals and objectives to meet or exceed objectives and key results. Seek innovative solutions to improve learning outcomes.

Must reside within a 30 mile radius of Lincoln, NE to be eligible for this role.

Job Description:

  • Model the Performance Based Organization (PBO) principles through high performance, training expertise, and professional conduct.
  • Lead, train, develop, and retain trainers. Provide one-on-one coaching to assist in improve business results.
  • Assist in the design, development and delivery of training programs.
  • Maintain course curricula including training plans, agendas, facilitator manuals, and course materials.
  • Track participation and evaluate effectiveness of training programs through various assessment and feedback mechanisms. Addresses potential changes and improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute reports on training outcomes and trainer performance.
  • Collaborate to develop modern learning solutions, while ensuring content development supports business goals and leads to positive business outcomes.
  • Strive to make a difference through continued self-improvement. Maintain current knowledge of best practice training methods and industry standards by proactively seeking learning and development opportunities.
  • Monitor and appraise team and systems as applicable.
  • Analyze long-term impacts and plans accordingly.
  • Participate, collaborate, and/or lead projects.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and business line leadership to develop, document, implement, and communicate/train policy, procedure, or system changes.
  • Use artificial intelligence responsibly to increase efficiencies and improve business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal regulations, company and departmental policies.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years in training and development
  • 2 years leadership experience

Important: This position requires work in support of the Company’s contract with the United States Department of Education (“ED”). As such, the United States Government requires that any applicant for this position must complete United States Government security clearance. Starting compensation for this role is a minimum of $60,000.00 annually, depending on experience.
