As the Product Field Specialist, you will help develop, support, and maintain our next generation of "smart tractors" and play a key role in enabling further product development. The primary role of this position is to carry out in-field product service and support, feature testing, troubleshoot problems in the field and communication that leads to short-term and long-term fixes to the equipment and customer success. you will support Monarch key customers by demonstrating expertise on product lines. We are looking for a self-motivated professional to drive value proposition into the marketplace from a regional perspective. Tasks include conducting test plans, identifying issues, and communicating with customers, product managers and engineers on a regular basis

Responsibilities

  • Carry out system- and feature-related hardware, software, and machine vision field tests of mechatronic farm machinery. Provide detailed documentation of testing execution and results.
  • Plan, manage and provide value proposition to dealers and customers, including field days, training events, dealer meetings, and customer visits to achieve retail unit and share objectives for assigned products in the assigned territory
  • Participate in evaluation of current and future products and give feedback to ensure appropriate customer requirements are being addressed.
  • Serve as the marketing product expert resource for assigned product to sales and marketing, with input to the platform, product management, and product development teams and drive the value proposition through training sessions on the assigned territory.
  • Assist in development of key marketing training materials for assigned products for effective communication of product value, features and benefits to the respective commercial organization, dealer network, and other specialist's needs.
  • Keep track of field inventory of assigned products in the assigned territory through setting and achieving dealer order writing objectives, transfer for retail, and retail actions, to achieve both retail and inventory objectives.
  • Provide in-field engineering support, including data collection, field test, troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve and document all aspects of the products
  • Provide an interface for Product Management, Autonomy, Digital and Engineering to understand the evolving needs of customers
  • Perform hands-on set-up, maintenance, testing and customization in the field per engineering test requirements
  • Track and manage recurring issues, from problem identification to resolution
  • Suggest design alternatives and support development of new features and tools
  • Transport and operate tractors and field test-related equipment as needed


Requirements

  • Experience with Agricultural equipment and working with large machinery in the field
  • Associate's Degree with at least three (3) years of Agricultural product experience, OR High school diploma with at least five (5) years of Agricultural product experience
  • At least two (2) years' of experience of direct customer agriculture equipment support
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with complex systems involving software, electronics and mechanical systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer-facing skills & team-oriented mindset
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Ability to travel 95% - this is a field based position
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and pass MVR


Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Agricultural or related technical area.
  • CDL License

  • Lift bulky objects
  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping – able to use bolt box.
  • Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
