Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven, organized, and passionate UX Researcher to guide us in delivering the best service to customers. This role is responsible for providing critical information that will drive key decisions as we build best-in-class industry solutions. The ideal candidate cares about making technology work for a diverse range of people in the transportation industry.

• Lead the strategic implementation for measuring and collecting user-centered research metrics.
• Initiate and execute all phases and of user research; planning, recruiting, data collection, analysis, and sharing results.
• Collaborate and engage with multiple teams across the organization; UX, Product, Business, Development, Stakeholders and Marketing.
• Craft test plans, communicate plans and results and provide recommendations supported by quantitative metrics.
• Design and execute user research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Provide supporting documentation of research findings to inform data-driven decision making.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field; Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors/HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences OR alternative equivalent project/portfolio experience.
• 2+ years as a UX Researcher or a related role, such as a UX Specialist, Design Researcher, Human Factors Specialist, or Human-Computer Interaction Specialist.
• Ability to create and lead research exercises, set best practices and standards, and present findings effectively for the team.
• Clear understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience working within analytics systems.
• Experience with creating, executing, and analyzing user tests, field studies, and usability studies to understand user needs.
• Ability to collect data, synthesize multichannel feedback, use analytics and user analysis to help improve the user experience.
• Excellent written and communication skills – must be able to build rapport and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, internal and external customers.
• Travel is not required for this position but provided as necessary to support the functions of this role.
