Overview

Nautic Partners, LLC completed its acquisition of the Specialty Tapes business from Berry Global Group, Inc., rebranding the company as Vybond . As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.

Position Summary

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the overall sales strategy and execution for Vybond’s Specialty Tapes & Adhesives business . This role will lead the sales organization and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high - quality products and service s to our customers. They will drive revenue and profit growth , expand market share , and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership .

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and market opportunities .
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, verticals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership team to set short- and long-term sales goal s and revenue targets .
  • Work with the commercial team to develop annual and strategic plans to meet revenue, profit , and market penetration goals.
  • Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team .
  • Train and develop top sales talent, ensuring alignment with the company values and strategic objectives .
  • Establish performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching, feedback , and professional development opportunities .
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the sales teams and the organization .
  • Customer Focus and Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer partners and industry influencers .
  • Develop customer-centric strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention .
  • Act as the company’s primary representative in key negotiations and partnership discussions .
  • Sales Operations & Planning
  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely tracking of sales .
  • Participates in the development of sales compensation plans and review programs with sales personnel to align with business p lans .
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and implement targeted plans for key accounts .
  • Optimize sales processes and leverage CRM tools to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making .
  • Collaborate with finance and product management to align pricing and promotional strategies .
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with commercial team to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, emerging trends , and market insights .
  • Work with the cr oss-functional team to drive innovation , new product development, gather feedback on product performance and enhancement opportunities .
  • Work closely with marketing to develop sales collat e ral, marketing campaigns and trade show strategies .
  • Partner with supply chain and customer service to ensure we meet or exceed industry service levels .
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events .

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experienc e ; prefer a bly within the Tapes & Adhesives sector .
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing , or related field .
  • Experienced at building high-perf ormin g sales organizations.
  • Proven track-record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies and managing complex sales cycles .

  • Ability to travel extensively (50%+).
