Enveda Therapeutics, Inc. DBA Enveda Biosciences seeks a VP, Corporate Development in Boulder, CO.
Duties: Develop and implement strategic assessments into new business lines and opportunities, in alignment with Enveda's overall goals and objectives; Conduct market research and analysis to identify and prioritize potential partners, acquisition targets, and new business development opportunities; Collaborate with the CEO, CBO and other key company stakeholders to evaluate, negotiate and structure deals with potential partners and acquisition targets; Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation modeling at both an asset and whole company level, including but not limited to discounted cash flow analysis, precedent transactions analysis, and public company comparables analysis; Lead the due diligence process for potential transactions, working closely with cross-functional teams to assess financial, legal, commercial, and scientific aspects of opportunities; Collaborate with the CEO and CoS to help build out the Finance function and monitor key metrics such as cash burn, runway and financing needs; and Recruit, train and lead a team of managers across the business development, finance and strategy functions and help them grow their career.
Telecommuting from anywhere in the US permitted.
Up to 30% domestic travel.
Position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Business Administration or other related field, plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations; alternatively, position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Business Administration or other related field, plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 4 years of experience in all of the following: Cross-team team collaboration and leadership to build an always-current process that identifies potential drug candidates; Constructing a framework to prioritize and tradeoff the litany of possible clinical drug candidates, considering financial and non-financial items; Financial asset valuation of potential compounds, drugs, partnerships, and/or deals; Writing research documents and proposals in easy to understand language that quantifies an opportunity; and Negotiating within the pharma/healthcare space to secure the best terms for long term mutual benefit.
