The Vice President of Americas Manufacturing provides a unique opportunity to lead and transform manufacturing and operational performance across Dematic's facilities in the United States and Mexico. This executive-level role will have direct responsibility for shaping production strategy, optimizing plant operations, streamlining supply chain coordination, and implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs to drive significant gains in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, directly contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks And Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Develop and implement the Americas manufacturing and operations strategy.
  • Translate corporate objectives into actionable operational plans, ensuring alignment across all Americas manufacturing sites to support growth, improve product quality, and cost.
  • Spearhead developing and implementing standardized manufacturing processes, best practices, and a culture of operational excellence across 4 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Mexico.
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction for all facets of plant operations across the Americas region, including production planning, quality assurance, process engineering, equipment maintenance, logistics optimization, and end-to-end supply chain integration to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Lead a safety-first culture and ensure strict adherence to all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, local regulations) across all U.S. and Mexico manufacturing sites.
  • Lead manufacturing footprint optimization, including capacity planning and facility upgrades/expansions.
  • Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, culturally diverse team across multiple locations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of delivering significant efficiency, quality, and cost improvements within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive experience leading and managing multi-location manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Mexico. (Strong understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and economic nuances of operating in both countries)
  • Ability to effectively lead and influence in a matrix environment.
  • Uncompromising integrity and ethical standards.
  • Exceptional strategic vision and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and operations.
  • Regular travel (approximately 50%) primarily to manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Mexico, is required.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.
