Salary: $165,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonuses and uncapped commissions for new business.

Position Overview: The Vice President of Operations (VP) drives operational excellence, client retention, profitability, compliance, and growth across multiple districts and service lines. Reporting to the CEO, the VP leads high-performing teams, strengthens customer relationships, and ensures alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Retention: Develop and implement retention programs; monitor service performance and client feedback.
  • Fiscal Operations: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and P&L performance; partner with Finance for accurate reporting.
  • Growth & Revenue: Lead sales efforts to achieve revenue goals; support market expansion and new service lines.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain strong safety protocols.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Provide operational reports to the CEO and manage KPI dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Leadership Development: Build and mentor a high-functioning operations team while fostering a strong leadership culture.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in relevant industries; proven success in multi-site operations.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, knowledge of janitorial operations, excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally and regionally; walk large facilities; lift up to 25 lbs; prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Working Conditions

  • Standard office environment with field visits; flexible hours, including occasional nights/weekends.
