Tombras is seeking an exceptional strategic leader for the pivotal role of VP, Social to lead Social Media Strategy & Innovation. As a world-class, full-service advertising agency renowned for cutting-edge creative and unparalleled consumer engagement, we need a true social media pioneer at the helm of our social practice.

In this vital position, you will architect our clients' overall social media vision and roadmap across an ever-evolving digital landscape. You will drive innovation by identifying emerging platforms, trends, and technologies to keep our clients at the leading edge. From TikTok to Instagram Reels, Web3 virtual worlds to AI-powered conversational experiences – you will ensure we capitalize on the full potential of social to build brand love and business success.

Where you'll be working: Knoxville, TN. Relocation assistance may be provided.

What you'll be doing:

• Formulate best-in-class social media strategies spanning audience insights, channel mix, content strategy, community management, influencer marketing, paid media, and more
• Oversee execution of omnichannel social campaigns delivering creative concept through deployment, optimization, and results analysis
• Serve as evangelist for social media marketing across the agency and all client verticals
• Cultivate social media capabilities through training, process optimization, and adoption of new tools/skill sets
• Lead high-performing social media teams and mentor future social innovators
• Continuously explore new social platforms, functionalities, and technologies to push boundaries
• Identify partnership and investment opportunities related to emerging social advancements
• Consult executive clients on leveraging social to achieve brand and business goals
  
  
  

What you'll need:

• 8+ years experience in social media marketing roles of increasing responsibility and scope
• Mastery of established and emerging social platforms, technologies, and content forms
• Proven track record developing and implementing future-forward social media strategies
• Strong understanding of social data/analytics paired with creative brand storytelling talent
• Entrepreneurial, change-oriented mindset with ability to inspire teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills
• Agency background strongly preferred; management experience a must
