JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Staff is responsible for total warehouse facility and represents the company locally. Performs all receiving and storeroom activities. Ensures accurate receipt and delivery of goodsHOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Responsible for the administration of the warehouse function in absence of the Warehouse Supervisor
- Ensures supplies are issued upon receipt of approved requisition. Provides for inspection of incoming material against order and specifications for correctness and defects and arranges for return of defective material
- Arrange for periodic and special inventories and reconcile book inventories with physical counts as directed by the Purchasing/Warehouse Supervisor
- Deliver materials as required. Plans and coordinates the issuance of materials stored with the Warehouse Supervisor
- Aids the Warehouse Supervisor in taking inventory of all materials. Prepares, reviews and maintains reports and records as required for accuracy
- Operates company vehicles as assigned
- Update the computer system as necessary
- Ensure store room and warehouse facilities are kept clean and orderly at all times
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) skills. Must have good mathematical and clerical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Must be able to give, as well as respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to operate computer as needed
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including in and around pit areas.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items when necessary.
- Must be able to reach below and above shoulders while performing duties.
- Must be able to stand/ walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up and carry up to 70 pounds.
- Must possess the ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, weigh scale and pull carts and dollies filled with items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to perform functions accurately in a noisy, busy environment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
- Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
- Must be able to use a computer.
- Must be able to 10 key and be proficient in typing skills.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school education or equivalent required
- 6-month previous warehouse experience and/or forklift and electric pallet jack certification is desired.
- $23.30 Hourly
- Bi-Weekly Pay Dates
