Job Description

• Earn: $21.00 per hour

• Shift: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday, 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)

• Location: 2880 North 112th St.

What you will do:

• Inspect incoming shipments and compare them with records to ensure accuracy. Record the correct count and pallet type for input once the purchase order is complete.

• Record shipment data in the computer system for reporting and record-keeping purposes. This includes weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies. Maintain accurate counts of inbound freight for proper warehouse storage.

• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory by conducting cycle and directed counting. Address customer service issues such as shortages, overages, and damages, and recommend appropriate actions.

• Monitor the warehouse management system for open invoices.

• Support the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping and communicate any issues or concerns. Pay special attention to high volume and high-value items during the shipping process.

• Label all pallets to be stocked and verify the accuracy of inbound freight by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record any discrepancies and inform the clerk or appropriate management of any damage or inventory shortages.

• Set up items and slots to maximize efficiency in shipping and receiving. Identify potential inventory hazards and take appropriate actions.

• Operate the current warehouse management system and utilize necessary technology for selecting products.

• Audit pick/reserve slots and ensure accurate rotation of products, as needed.

• Ensure the absence of rodent/pest activity in all inbound shipments and document any findings.

• Perform all other assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as described in the inventory control SOP program.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
