Warehouse Specialist I - #307988

VSS Logistics | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

VSS Logistics is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist I. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do

• Pick materials from warehouse locations and assemble kits based on Lists of Material (LOM) with a high level of accuracy
• Process and confirm transactions in the inventory system
• Receive and break down incoming shipments
• Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Support inventory control processes, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and shelf-life audits
• Pick and prepare customer orders, ensuring proper labeling and packaging
• Maintain organized and accurate bin locations
• Assist across warehouse functions to help meet daily performance goals

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, inventory control, manufacturing, or material handling
• Basic computer skills and preferable familiarity with Microsoft Office (emails, Word, Excel, etc)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet daily and weekly performance metrics
• Must foster good morale and support team members
• High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements

• Ability to work a full 40-hour schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
