We’re seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional to manage warranty claims and logistics operations across our company. From coordinating with internal and external teams to ensuring timely, accurate shipments and repairs, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and operational efficiency. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Provide tracking and reporting updates to relevant SWS departments

General Responsibilities & Expectations – Warranty (~40%)

  • Respond to warranty inquiries via phone and written communication
  • Follow manufacturer protocols for initiating and processing warranty claims
  • Document all labor and parts costs associated with warranty repairs
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify required parts, root cause of failure, and corrective actions
  • Accurately record technician notes, parts used, and associated costs upon completion of warranty work
  • Return failed parts to manufacturers/vendors per their shipping and documentation requirements
  • Submit complete warranty claims for reimbursement within 10 days of repair completion, adhering to vendor guidelines
  • Represent and advocate for SWS and its customers during warranty claim negotiations
  • Monitor claim status and follow up weekly on outstanding reimbursements beyond 30 days
  • Conduct annual reviews of vendor reimbursement rates

General Responsibilities & Expectations – Logistics (~60%)

  • Obtain freight quotes for companywide equipment shipments
  • Compare freight carriers to secure the best value and service
  • Schedule all freight pickups and deliveries
  • Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) and bills of lading (BOLs)
  • Track all shipments and provide daily status updates to relevant team members
  • Allocate and apply freight charges to related POs, sales orders, and work orders
  • Inspect and document equipment upon delivery, noting any damage or deficiencies with photos; coordinate corrective actions with vendors
