Job Summary

Our Tulare distribution yard is seeking a yard lead with forklift experience. The yard lead will work under the general supervision of the Tulare Yard Operational Manager on routine duties following standard policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Load / unload crane trucks, vendor deliveries, customer will-calls, and prioritize flatbed live loading or unloading
• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods
• Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory/onto and off truck
• Complete Daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment
• Maintain the yard in an orderly fashion and ensure all product is stored in correct location and dunnage is properly placed
• Perform daily maintenance on forklifts
• Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory and OPC items
• Verify all loads
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
  
  

Job Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Ability to carry out instructions, both written and oral
• Forklift experience
• Experience working in a yard or warehouse setting preferred
• Experience counting inventory
• Experience with patching concrete with keen eye to Quality Control
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the day
  
  

Compensation

• The hourly rate is $21-25/hr
