Introduction to the job


In this Regional Product Management position, you will play an important role interfacing between customers and HMI. Your mission is to be the ‘voice of the customer’ to drive projects for excellent execution; making sure that HMI delivers the right solutions at the right time to help customer reach their goals.


HMI, a world leading electron beam company, joined AMSL family in 2016. HMI innovative e-beam technology has become an integral part of ASML holistic lithography portfolio. We provided defect inspection and CD Metrology solutions to all world’s leading chipmakers.


This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.


Role and responsibilities


  • Works with customers and central team to define, plan, prioritize and execute joint projects
  • Project interface between customer and technical support team, to identify customer’s requirement and allocate/align the resource to drive the solution in field timely.

  • Conducting customer engagement projects to demonstrate and improve the performance of our products
  • Listen customer voices and feedback to product development, provide new ideas or solutions, build customer relationship and gain the trust.

  • Fully support the product marketing and account sales to drive the business revenue.

  • Analyzes and summarizes progress or results of important projects and makes written and verbal presentation of results to customers, within HMI/ASML, and at industry meetings, as required.

  • Becomes familiar with customer roadmaps, plans, processes, and challenges and communicates to HMI Marketing.

  • Join HMI product roadmaps and technology or feature definition for future products with HMI Marketing.

  • ~ 10% domestic and international traveling rate for customer visit, training, and/or meetings


Education and experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, and/or Chemical Engineering.Master degree or higher preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant, work related experience in semiconductor related industry.At least 7 years with a Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CD/overlay metrology, defect inspection and/or semiconductor process
  • Insight into leading-edge chipmakers’ needs in terms of device design, process monitoring and control
  • Must be able to work independently and also effectively as a member of a team, and experience leading projects.

  • Project management experience. Conducting customer engagement projects to demonstrate and improve the performance of our products
  • Experience working with customers defining, planning, executing projects
  • Ability to interface with technical support team, to identify customer’s requirement and allocate/align the resource to drive the solution in field timely.

  • Skilled in gathering data and conducting analysis, preparing reports for customer communication.

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment / fabs, is a plus.
