There is an opportunity for a talented individual to join AIG Retirement Services as a District Vice President. The selected candidate would work to grow and develop assets in an area of the country that has a rich company history and strong upside potential

Job responsibilities associated with the District Vice President position include:

  • Foster a culture of integrity and transparency ensuring the highest levels of compliance throughout the region
  • Travel required throughout District
  • Develop and implement a district-wide strategy for growing market share in groups with a primary focus on increasing participation
  • Address and solve business-related challenges as needed
  • Effective recruitment, selection, and development of talented leaders and financial professionals
  • Promote continual improvement to enhance the customer experience
  • Collaborate with peers and share best practices

To be successful in this position, the candidate must demonstrate strong communication, technology and relationship-building skills

In addition, the successful candidate must possess and effectively demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Mentoring and coaching skills
  • Ability to build customer loyalty
  • Superior planning and organizational skills

The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

  • Series 7, 24, 66, 51 and Life and Health licenses
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills in working with financial professionals, clients and the community
  • Candidates must also be a team player and embrace change
  • Strong leadership skills; mentoring and coaching skills; ability to build customer loyalty; and superior planning and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Retirement Plan types and law
