Job Summary:

Act as a key leader for cross-functional Scrum development team to deliver valuable product enhancements and integrations. Understand and convey the business processes and problems to the Scrum team. This job represents the voice of the customer to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions

1. Decompose large requirements (value streams) into smaller requirements (epics)

2. Provides information on current and future business architecture including business strategies, operating modules, organizational structure processes, and technology and information functionality

3 Assist in the integration of programs across channels with internal partners and manages program effectiveness against target metrics

4. Build and leverage solid working relations with business and product stakeholders, other product owners, and the architecture and strategy teams to facilitate the achievement of product strategy

5.Coach, mentor, and support other product analysts. Communicate effectively, manage conflict among team members, and remove impediments

6. Stay current on competitive trends/threads and identify opportunities to beat market expectations

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements

Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials

Job Details:

This position will report directly to the Managing Director supporting Enterprise Data & Analytics as the organizational Chief of Staff and CONDOR program lead. Leads and coordinates large project efforts with multiple stakeholder teams, including taking responsibility for issue resolution. Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials

As this position will also be responsible for the overall project management over our migration from an on-premise Teradata data warehouse to a cloud-based Teradata Vantage in Azure ecosystem, the ability to guide technical architecture teams and vendor resources in the design and execution process for the Cloud infrastructure and implementation is important

Ability to work and negotiate with third party vendor, finance, and legal to identify scope, resources, and budget requirements in the development of project/program related SOW development and execution

Ability to manage multiple project/program workstreams to deliver programs/projects from inception to operationalization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven leadership in delivery of key strategic effort aligned to FedEx’s strategic operating principles

  • Knowledge of Teradata Vantage and Microsoft Azure technologies

  • Demonstrated experience leading, planning and implementing enterprise strategic initiatives with little management oversight.

  • Strong understanding of the IT Operating Model, SAFe development methodology and Software Engineering Discipline

  • Effective in navigating within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Effectively interacts with executives on a routine basis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Strong business partner interface skills, excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential for this position

  • Ability to travel based on business need

  • Experience in working in small- and large-scale Agile frameworks
