We are searching for a Manger of Respiratory Therapy and Neurophysics - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will manage and lead daily clinic and personnel activities as it pertains to Respiratory Therapy, Sleep, EEG, and EMU. The Manager coordinates the delivery of high quality, family centered and developmentally appropriate patient care at the clinic level.

  • Manages daily operations of assigned areas, including, but not limited to customizing operations, aligning operations with the main campus departments, creating and overseeing annual capital and operating budgets, and monitoring financial performance and billing

  • Monitors staffing requirements and productivity levels by establishing staffing guidelines based on patient needs and budgetary guidelines within review at least annually

  • Provides respiratory direct patient care as needed

  • Manages human resources through hiring, developing and coaching competent staff and investigating/resolving all employee, patient and physician complaints and concern

  • Ensures regulatory compliance of assigned areas by all accrediting bodies including JCAHO, CLIA, OSHA, ADA, TDSHS, and CAP

  • Ensures delivery of quality, cost effective patient care within the family-centered care environment by participating in and/or leading one performance improvement activity a year that improves patient flow, customer satisfaction, or employee satisfaction

  • Ensures that JCAHO requirements specific to your department are fulfilled but also understand the linkage between your department’s requirements and those of the integrated delivery system


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MHA, MBA, or supervisory background preferred

  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist in clinical area of respiratory care in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

  • RCP license from the state of Texas required

  • RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care required

  • 3 years healthcare experience required

  • Experience in neurophysiology/sleep medicine preferred

  • Pediatric experience highly preferred
