Primary duties will include end to end requirements from intake and prioritization to planning and execution of work inclusive of infrastructure design, test execution, and implementation. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills, have the ability to prioritize and manage time and is comfortable with servers, databases, SQL or Python. Responsibilities include managing multiple data sources, standardizing, and storing them appropriately in servers and databases that they oversee. To be successful in this position, candidates will need to take ownership of the cleanliness and quality of the data, and not merely shepherd it from one system to another. Workflows will be used to transform data, preparing it for Tableau visualizations and end user consumption

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Harvest data using APIs and SQL, Python or similar tools
  • Building, modifying visualizations using Tableau
  • Modify and blend data utilizing workflows in Alteryx (or similar tool) to harvest, validate, clean and standardize data in a highly repeatable and automated manner
  • Data analysis and insights focused on high accuracy, trending and modeling in line with Global Technology Modernization Strategies
  • Maintain familiarity on all systems and processes
  • Collaborate with business owners providing input to wireframe designs for Tableau
  • Creates and maintains design documentation in compliance with JPMC policies
  • Build and maintain team roadmaps
  • Prioritize backlog and assist with increments (sprints)
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, Procedures, training and team member involvement activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or a related field
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of advanced experience in Data Analytics required
  • Solid understanding and experience working with databases, tables, variable types, and variable attributes
  • Strong investigative skills
  • Experience using JIRA, Kanban, Scrum and Confluence
  • Experience working in Scalable Agile environment
  • Experience building and managing roadmaps
  • Experience with SQL query development, database joins and checks
  • Desire to design the most effective data storage solution for reporting purposes and take proactive ownership of the \"cleanliness\" of that data
  • Highly collaborative team player who is focused, self-motivated, detail oriented, accurate, and flexible - able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines
  • Expertise with Alteryx data transformation software is preferred but not required
  • Expertise with PowerBI or Tableau visualization software is required
  • Familiarity with data types and nuances will help in this position
  • Excellent time management skills and highly results oriented
