Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting with the company’s monthly consolidation accounting close procedures, “tie-down” of all external financial reporting and the project accounting for all corporate construction projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Assists in the preparation of the monthly close schedules

Responsible for the daily consolidated operating report

Maintains project accounting for all corporate construction projects

Maintains budget, schedule and documentation controls on all corporate construction projects

Tracks project cost and status utilizing Expedition or Prolog software

Reviews and reconciles construction billings and prepares check requests

Responsible for all contract administration including the preparation of Request for Proposals

Provides assistance in generating contracts and purchase orders for design consultants, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers

Solicits, verifies and monitors proper Payment and Performance Bonds, Insurance Certificates and Release and Waivers of Liens for all applicable payments

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the preparation of the quarterly and annual supporting schedules required by our external auditors

Assists in the monthly accrual process for all corporate departments

Assists with generating exception reports that are used in financial reviews

Assist with the preparation of the annual budget for all corporate entities

Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Training Requirements:

Knowledge of Infinium software, including general ledger, accounts payable, project accounting and fixed asset modules

Knowledge of financial reporting software, AIA contract software and software for project tracking

Keeps abreast of GAAP and other authoritative guidance issued by related agencies (FASB)

Keeps up-to-date of industry trends

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Office work environment

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines

Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time

Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
