Job Description

Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking an experienced Security Architect to join our Information Security team. This role will perform a critical role in defining and shaping the security of our corporate network and information systems.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned security professional to help define processes and implement solutions for the continuous improvement of Red Wing Shoe Company’s security controls in accordance with industry best practices.

The Security Architect will focus on threat modelling to map potential attack vectors against infrastructure and applications and design effective security solutions and controls to protect Red Wing from advanced attackers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, or information security is preferred, with a minimum of 7 years of cyber-security experience; or an equivalent combination of some education and experience in related fields. Relevant security certifications is a plus, such as GDSA, CNDA, CRTSA, GCCC, OSCP, GPEN, GDAT. 

Candidates should hold experience in the use of attack techniques and corresponding defensive measures; Critical technical security controls and their appropriate deployment configurations; Working in red team, penetration testing or application security roles; Administering or defending Azure/AWS cloud environments; Working with and securing API: Building out enterprise-wide security architecture plans; Utilizing threat intelligence to inform on the delivery of security solutions.

Candidates should have knowledge or skill across multiple security technologies including but not limited to: SIEM, NGFW, Proxy, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR, A/V, WAF, Orchestration Solutions; Strong Windows operating system internals, Active Directory and networking background; Authentication protocols, cryptography, key management, and PKI; Working as a team-player willing and able to promote a working environment that encourages and increases collaboration, clarity, and innovation; Relevant security certifications a plus (GDSA, CNDA, CRTSA, GCCC, OSCP, GPEN, GDAT).
