Responsible for managing the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts, and financial assets. Ensuring that the company is meeting its financial objectives.

Essential Functions:

• Planning, implementing and supervising the company’s financial strategy
• Handling the company’s transactions and debts and doing cash flow forecasting
• Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency in finance department, for short- and long-term financial objectives
• Ensure financial wellbeing by tracking revenue and expenses, consolidating and analyzing financial data, preparing special reports, completed month end close, maintaining internal controls
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards and are accurate
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Develop and support finance team on implementing new processes
• Point of contact for CPA audited financials
• Make independent decisions while mitigating risks
• Facilitate department meetings, conduct and follow up on task completion
• Perform related duties as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, and/or at least four years experience as an Senior Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
• Managerial experience with leading a team
• Computer spreadsheet, database, and accounting software literacy (QBO and Bill.com)
• Detail oriented with a passion for accuracy
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality
• Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures, including AP/AR financial operations
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
