The Physician Recruiter is responsible to contract with healthcare professionals for inclusion into the National Health Care Professional Network in order t o accommodate the needs of our clients. This position researches sources, ensures the initial credentialing and provides support services for National Physician Recruitment. This position ensures all newly recruited health care professionals are appropriately credentialed, which includes the responsibility of maintaining current information on file and within the health care professional database. This position primarily works independently, but frequently coordinates with the Physician Recruitment Team and aids in facilitating physician recruitment.
Essential Job Functions
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education And/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of two years related experience in a medical, legal or insurance profession preferred. Minimum two years sales experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid State Driver’s License.

Essential Job Functions
- Research sources and make contact with potential physicians for inclusion in the National Health Care Professional Network.
- Participate in research for setting fees and pricing in states assigned for recruitment.
- Responsible to negotiate, obtain initial credentials and contract with physicians for inclusion into the National Health Care Professional Network.
- At the direction of Management, represent the company at conferences, seminars and meetings for the purpose of physician recruitment.
- Renegotiate contracts with currently contracted physicians, as needed.
- Maintain appropriate professional client and physician contacts to enhance expertise in the field of physician recruitment.
- Receive, process, and provide follow-up regarding clients’ nominations of physicians for inclusion into the National Health Care Professional Network .
- Perform Open Service Requests for appointments in states where we do not currently have existing operations/physician coverage.
- Promote physician relations; anticipate and respond to needs of others; provide assistance in a courteous manner; treat others with care and respect, maintain privacy and confidentiality as required.
- Assist in resolving client and/or physician concerns relative to service issues.
- Provide supervisory reports in such form and substance as a supervisor may require.
- Assist with special credentialing projects as directed by Management.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of records and information at all times.
- Participate in various educational/training or recruitment meetings as required.
- Conduct telemarketing duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

- Must hold a valid state Driver’s License and travel as needed.
- Ability to meet clients and attend various functions and client entertainment at Management’s discretion.
- Must possess knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
- Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to Managements’ directions accurately.
- Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
- Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common correspondence, medical journals and legal documents.
- Ability to write clearly and informatively and edit own work for appropriate spelling and grammar.
- Ability to respond appropriately and professionally to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.
- Ability to write reports clearly and informatively and that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one, in small groups, to top Management, and/or clients or vendors of the company.
