The Manager, Brand Partnerships & Activations will support the Director of Brand Marketing and Senior Director of Brand Marketing with overall partnership strategy, opportunity exploration and execution to advance the Anthropologie Group’s mission, priorities, and growth strategies . They will be tasked with bringing to life key initiatives that drive brand awareness and affinity by championing Anthropologie’s core values and positioning the brand as an innovator in the retail space through paid and organic partnerships and experiential marketing initiatives . This role is responsible for conceptualizing, managing, and executing world-class campaign activations that are visionary, culturally relevant, and positively impact the Anthropologie customer community and business. These activations encompass and support our brand campaigns, product launches, collaborations, and store openings. The Manager, Brand Partnerships & Activations will oversee the planning process from request to execution and work cross functionally with all stakeholders for organized and efficient project management.

Role Responsibilities
External Partnership s
- Have a finger on the pulse of of brand partnerships across the consumer landscape; Proactively i d eate and present a broad range of compelling opportunities that are both reactionary and rooted in trend
- Work in tandem with Director of Brand Marketing to bring to lif e compelling, 360 degree cross-promotional partnerships that support overarching goals and campaigns across Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings & Anthropologie Home brands
- Evaluate and structure potential partnerships and build business cases for recommended opportunities that drive brand awareness, provide access to new customer acquisition and accelerate current capabilities around community & experience
- Act as Project Manager, developing and closely monitoring detailed timelines and budgets for all partnership elements
- Closely review partnership SOWs and contracts etc., working with Legal as needed and ensuring that all confirmed deliverables within are upheld accordingly
- Oversee Brand Partnerships Associate development of partnership briefs and ensure all respective needs are being clearly and effectively communicated
- Act as external liaison with key partners, sharing updates and marketing assets for approval as deemed appropriate throughout the planning process
- Track and a nalyze partnership results to determine success and the future of the relationship /inform future decisions
- Grow and nurture relationships with key home office teams to optimize partnerships, including Creative, Social, Digital Marketing, PR, Styling and Merchandising
- Gather information from divisional leaders and Marketing Managers to ideate experiences that reinforce, educate, and share what a creative, culturally aware, and product-centric brand Anthropologie is, ultimately driving sales, creating brand equity and reinforcing a sense of community
- Oversee production and management of all experiential activations that support marketing goals and initiatives of external partnerships
- Develop and maintain thorough production manifests, informing relevant team members and cross-functional partners of plans at the onset of each project
- Manage cross-functional briefings, ensuring all teams have proper time and opportunity to input supporting ideas and details that are relevant to their respective channels
- With the support of the Brand Partnerships Associate , ensure all promotional marketing content, print materials and product are executed and managed with best-in-class attention to detail – leaving no questions unanswered and no activation elements neglected
- Responsible for outlining anticipated budget breakdown, tracking all spend and reporting on any resulting variances/overages along the way
- Work with Brand Partnerships Associate to develop and share out activation recaps that are inclusive of all channels and clearly outline success/opportunities and insight to improvements for future strategy
- Support Director of Brand Marketing in maintaining relationships with key media partners to keep Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings & Anthropologie Home top of mind for potential paid placements (including OOH partners)
- Proactively seek and vet incoming paid media opportunities for the brands
- Assist in the execution of all confirmed media plans by maintaining communication with partner, overseeing Brand Partnerships Associate in the briefing process and ensuring all deliverables are optimized for both preferred creative and linking components
- Own internal relationships with Styling, Merchandising, Digital Marketing & Creative Operations Teams for their respective involvement with media plan placements, including, but not limited to, sample procurement, trend messaging, creative direction and content linking/tracking
- Guide Brand Partnerships Associate in recapping paid media campaigns and work closely with cross functional partners to assess performance and overall brand lift to help inform future strategies
- 5- 7 years of experience in a marketing role with dedicated partnership experience; fashion/retail experience a plus
- A charismatic and proactive style of communication desired for external communication
- Strong organization skills inclusive of building timelines and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of cross-functional partners across multiple teams
- Hunger for brainstorming/ideating new and exciting external partners in complementary industries
- General awareness of/experience working with media companies and partners a plus
- Motivated by curiosity, whether solving a problem, pursuing a new experience, or seeking creative inspiration
- A proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and result s
