  • }Doyon Management Services, LLC (DMS)**, a wholly owned subsidiary of Doyon Government Group (DGG), provides design-build and general construction services for demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations

.The **Assistant Project Manager**supports the management of construction projects by assisting in planning, monitoring progress, and communicating with stakeholders. They help prepare project documentation, provide support in various project tasks, and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. Additionally, they contribute to problem-solving efforts and administrative tasks to ensure projects are completed successfully and efficiently

.Essential Function

  • s Utilize VISTA Project Management system for assigned dutie
  • s Support the project manager in administrative tasks, such as organizing meetings, maintaining project files, and updating project documentatio
  • n Manage subcontractor and owner pay applications, including drafting, approval coordination, and documentatio
  • n Monitor project progress and ensuring adherence to schedules and budget
  • s Generate change orders for customers and subcontractor
  • s Collaborate on project financial reporting with supervisor
  • s Complete Estimate Amount to Complete (EAC) process in Vist
  • a Coordinate and respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) with other department
  • s Manage project documentation, including daily reports, quality control plans, and submittal
  • s Prepare and manage project submittal and deliverable
  • s Generate Purchase Requisitions and Order
  • s Estimate time and manpower requirements for project bid
  • s Coordinate construction schedule and update project schedule
  • s Collaborate with Superintendents, QC Managers, Site Safety Officers, and Foreme
  • n Perform field inspection and coordinatio
  • n Manage project start-up and closeout processe
  • s Travel to job sites and regional offices as neede
  • d Other duties as assigne

dKnowledge, Skills & Abilitie

  • s Possess or acquire skills to manage duties using VISTA Project Management syste
  • m Understand technical and administrative aspects of construction project management phase
  • s Thoroughly grasp construction project lifecycl
  • e Write effective, persuasive business correspondence, and understand reports from other source
  • s Strong oral and written communicatio
  • n Facilitate clear communication in multidisciplinary environmen
  • t Knowledgeable about government contracting and regulation
  • s Establish effective relationships with employees, customers, subcontractors, and publi
  • c Proficient with MS Office Suite, scheduling, and VISTA project management softwar
  • e Understand and apply federal, state, and city regulation
