Description

The Department of Medicine is seeking to hire Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in the day-to-day operational management of clinical research studies. This role plays a key part in facilitating the successful execution of study activities by assisting with project coordination, meeting critical deadlines, and ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. The incumbent helps plan, organize, and carry out essential tasks to maintain study integrity and support overall research objectives.

Hourly range: $27.08-$43.55

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions
• Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines
• Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.
• Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.
• Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual
• Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry
• Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
• Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.
• Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.
