About The Team

At eBay, we are revolutionizing the way brands connect with customers through our full funnel suite of advertising products. We empower both established and emerging brands globally to drive meaningful connections with the eBay audience, helping them grow their businesses on the eBay marketplace and beyond. Our client-facing team is at the heart of this transformation, enabling brands to leverage eBay's advertising ecosystem to achieve their goals – from building awareness to driving conversions and fostering loyalty.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Brand Partner Manager to join our team. This role will focus on driving net new brand relationships and fostering long-term partnerships with strategic brands across diverse categories. You will be instrumental in developing and executing the strategy to grow eBay’s advertising business, working directly with brands to align their goals with eBay’s advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Enterprise Sales: Acquire new, high-value brand relationships with established brands and leading industry players across verticals. Build and expand eBay’s brand portfolio through a mix of direct and indirect partnerships. Own the responsibility of meeting advertising revenue goals, with a focus on driving results through strategic brand relationships.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with brands, focusing on aligning eBay’s ad products with the unique business objectives of each brand. Become the trusted advisor and "voice of the brand" within the organization, ensuring that their needs are represented and addressed in the execution of campaigns. Lead client meetings and negotiations with key decision-makers to deepen brand partnerships.
  • Design Brand Advertising Solutions: Partner with brands to define their advertising objectives and create holistic media plans that deliver results across the full funnel. Leverage data insights to craft tailored advertising solutions that improve brand visibility, drive conversions, and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Execute Campaign Strategy: Define campaign objectives and deliver on desired outcomes. Set clear budgets aligned with ad strategies, ensuring efficient spending and maximum ROI. Oversee the development of creative assets and the selection of listings to promote. Drive continuous optimization of campaigns to improve performance and return on investment.
  • Maximize Value Through Ads: Constantly innovate and apply creative solutions to maximize revenue potential for brands. Drive visibility and improve performance across eBay’s advertising solutions, constantly refining approaches to meet brand goals. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in advertising and e-commerce to ensure brand strategies remain relevant and competitive.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Partner with merchandising, business development, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across campaigns. Provide valuable feedback on product enhancements, making sure that the unique needs of your categories and brands are addressed.


What You Will Bring

  • Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven experience in enterprise sales, including cold calling, lead generation, and establishing new brand relationships. Strong networking skills to connect with key decision-makers and expand your brand portfolio. Demonstrated ability to manage and drive new business acquisition, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Brand Advertising Knowledge: Deep understanding of the full funnel advertising process, from brand awareness to conversion and loyalty. Experience in both Search and Display ads preferred. Knowledge of ad-tech solutions and trends, with the ability to create innovative solutions to drive brand success.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to foster strong relationships, becoming the main point of contact for brands while acting as the “voice of the brand” internally. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to drive results and keep brands engaged.
  • Networking & Relationship Building: Exceptional networking skills with the ability to build and maintain connections across the industry. Leverage those relationships to bring new opportunities to eBay and support brand growth. Proactively engage with brands and industry leaders to expand the brand portfolio.
  • Strategic Thinking & Analytical Acumen: A strategic problem solver with a keen ability to analyze data and use insights to drive campaign performance. Experience in setting and measuring KPIs, and leveraging data to optimize campaigns and performance across verticals.
  • Consultative Sales & Communication Skills: Exceptional consultative sales skills with the ability to coach and guide brands to success. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present recommendations clearly and persuasively to internal teams and external partners.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly and that brand needs are met with precision.


Requirements

  • 7+ years in performance marketing, digital advertising, or e-commerce required
  • Proven track record in driving new business acquisition, particularly through cold calling, networking, and establishing brand relationships
  • Experience with enterprise-level sales and building long-term partnerships with established brands
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, results-oriented attitude with a drive to innovate and achieve business goals
  • Experience in setting and measuring advertising KPIs
  • Experience with both Search and Display advertising is a plus

The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below:

$132,000 - $176,200

The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below:

$90,400 - $157,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
