At Aggreko Energy Transition Solutions (AETS), we help communities and companies decarbonize. We develop and operate reliable and economical clean energy infrastructure across the US, including utility-scale and distributed solar and battery storage projects. We are hiring a Business Development Commercial & Industrial Intern - to gain firsthand experience in solar and battery storage engineering. Interns will work on project design, grid interconnection, and energy transition solutions alongside industry experts. This opportunity provides real-world experience in renewable energy, helping develop the next generation of professionals while contributing to innovative clean energy projects that drive sustainable power solutions.

- Based in Trenton, NJ, you will support the C&I distributed solar business development team in originating onsite solar and battery storage projects
- Conduct research on strategic solar power buyers and evaluate economic and utility factors enabling new markets
- Gather intelligence and develop data-driven reports to optimize project feasibility
- Learn about solar project design, site selection, and economic drivers for successful deployment
- Develop and refine target acquisition tools by engaging with business development managers (BDMs) to streamline processes
- Utilize digital research, software adaptability, and people skills to enhance business development strategies
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sciences, or related fields
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for energy transition and sustainability, backed by a solid academic record (GPA)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to analyze data, create reports, and present technical ideas effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and passion for Energy transition
