What’s the job?

Lofty is seeking a rockstar sales hunter to fill the role of Business Development Representative (BDR). In this role you will drive top-of-funnel opportunities and expand our presence in the real estate technology industry. You will help support the rapid expansion of Lofty by generating demand for our market-leading real estate platform. A successful BDR will use their hunter sales skills and a variety of communication channels (email, phone, text, social media, your network) to connect with potential buyers with the goal of scheduling online demonstrations with one of our software experts.

This individual will focus their efforts on high-impact business development activities. The BDR (Hunter) will be responsible for identifying key high-level prospects to accelerate revenue growth.

What’s the job?

  • Strategic Prospecting & Lead Generation: Through high volume outbound efforts, identify and engage high-potential enterprise prospects, ensuring a steady pipeline for Account Executives.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities and strategic engagement with enterprise prospects.
  • Trade Shows & Industry Events: Represent Lofty at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events, fostering relationships that drive enterprise sales opportunities.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Know all you can about the industry. We will deepen your knowledge about the industry, competitive landscape, and key players in the space. You will stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to position you and the company for success.
  • Executive-Level Engagement: Optimize outreach strategies to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers, positioning Lofty as a leading solution in the space.
  • Process & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, pipeline development, and relationship-building efforts within the CRM.

What’s the work location?

You’ll be based out of our stunning, light-filled headquarters in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix—a 17,000-square-foot space designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. During onboarding and training, you’ll work in-office five days a week to build momentum, meet your teammates, and ramp up with hands-on support. Once key KPIs and performance metrics are met, you’ll transition to a hybrid schedule of three in-office days per week—giving you the flexibility to balance focused work and in-person collaboration.

What's the earning potential ($$$)?

First-year earnings? Top performers typically bring in $80,000 to $100,000+, and there’s no cap on what you can earn. The more you hustle, the more you take home!

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Rockstar Sales Hunter
  • High Volume Outbound Sales Experience with a deep understanding of building quality sales pipeline.
  • Proven ability to generate new business opportunities through strategic networking, outbound prospecting, and attending industry events.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of engaging decision-makers.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the broader sales team.
  • Experience in business development or sales within a SaaS, marketplace, or proptech company is a plus.
