This Position reports to:

Order Handling Specialist

In this role, your focus will be on translating ABB’s current and future product and service demands into appropriate supply chain strategies by ensuring the best global supply channels, managing the commercial supplier relationships, and ensuring a stable supply of goods/services with optimum quality, cost, technology, and sustainable performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor, and track goods to verify appropriate delivery and proper invoicing
• Provide internal analysis for all the requirements to develop strategy and optimize the purchasing process
• Communicate with customer service, clients, and other internal team members to ensure the purchasing process is efficient and accurate
• Work alongside the operations planer to ensure the requirements are aligned with the customer desired delivery date
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related business
• SAP or ERP experience
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Candidates must have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
