The Supply Chain Management team is dedicated to overseeing the purchase of equipment, merchandise and supplies within the organization’s guidelines for cost, quality and accurate delivery. Staff may receive, stock and transport a variety of items to and from off-site locations, handle messenger pickups and deliveries outside the facilities, maintain stockroom inventories, route incoming goods to proper departments and research or negotiate products according to quality, price and value standards.
As the Materials Management Buyer, you play an essential role in ensuring that Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics have the necessary materials and supplies to operate efficiently and provide outstanding health care services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a solid understanding of vendor-client relations, the ability to maintain organized accounts, excellent communication and customer service skills and a commitment to helping our organization deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Three (3) years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of hospital experience preferred.
