Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop master plans, conceptual site layouts, and landscape designs for residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments.
- Conduct site analysis, including environmental, zoning, and land-use assessments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, developers, and municipal agencies to ensure project feasibility and compliance with local regulations.
- Create compelling visual presentations, renderings, and illustrative plans to communicate design concepts.
- Participate in public engagement processes, client meetings, and design charrettes.
- Communicate with Director of Land Planning and product representatives.
- Develop solutions to policy and physical planning problems.
- Assist in the preparation of site feasibility studies and reports.
- Assist in developing project scopes and budgets.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Licensure as Landscape Architect (preferred but not required).
- Three plus years of experience in land planning, community design, or landscape architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other land planning software.
- Strong design and visualization skills, with experience in creating high-quality graphics.
- Knowledge of zoning codes, land development processes, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and work on multiple tasks.
- Complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
- Creative and organized problem solver
