Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Marketing will focus on creating & executing creative marketing campaigns to help achieve business objectives across multiple lines of business. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to increase brand awareness, drive ticket sales, promote public awareness as well as support private events, partnership marketing and premium sales efforts.

Essential Duties:

Advertising and Promotional Function:

  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of marketing and promotional plans to support business initiatives.
  • Create, prepare and implement advertising and promotional plans.
  • Maintain promotional partnerships with corporate partners and media reps in support of upcoming events and business priorities.
  • Maintain good working relationships with event promoters and media partners throughout the media buying and billing process.
  • Serve as liaison with shows on publicity efforts.

Business Development Support Function:

  • Establish local marketing and advertising relationships to form promotional partnerspartnershipship and trade opportunities
  • Monitor budget and accounting for marketing efforts and keep marketing management up to date on costs and on potential overages.

Administrative:

  • Manage project expenses and event media settlements, including collecting invoices, coding and backbackup up materials
  • Interact with various internal and external clients related to marketing projects, campaigns and ticketing initiatives
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns in support of various sales priorities.
  • Coordinate graphic design projects as well as other marketing duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree in Marketing or Related Field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience supporting marketing, advertising, communications, promotions or event marketing.
  • Knowledge of and experience in marketing, media buying, promotions, public relations, website and social network maintenance
  • Ability to lead and represent the Marketing Department with internal and external clients.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and follow projects through completion.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite,
  • Proficient in social media management platforms and email marketing platforms.
  • Proficient in digital advertising, social media campaigns, email marketing, website content coordination.
  • Positive attitude about success, teamwork and excellence.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to building productive working relationships with internal departments, promoters, media representatives, vendors and community partners.
  • Basic marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with good coordinating and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to learn ticketing, CRM and venue management systems.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sponsorship Activation or partnership marketing support.
  • Live entertainment, sports or venue marketing experience.
