Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Bone Marrow - National Registry team in the role of Data Analyst. This position is full-time, hybrid role with 3 days of onsite work required at University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Only candidates from Indiana will be considered for this position due to the onsite requirements of the role.
Role Responsibilities
- Synthesize patient data from Adult Bone Marrow Transplant, Stem Cell Transplant, and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy populations.
- Collaborate with Pre-Transplant Navigators, Quality teams, and Physicians to ensure accurate and complete data collection.
- Accurately input patient data into STEMSoft and CIBMTR databases to maintain program accreditation.Provides data analysis and database management support to programs and initiatives.
- Serves as a resource person to all levels of management in reviewing, understanding, and analyzing data for performance improvement initiatives.
- Provides data analysis support, report generation, data validation, and serves as an expert user, providing training for additional system users.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Preferred:

Experience in a healthcare environment.

Familiarity with National Bone Marrow Registry processes and database systems.

Proficiency in reviewing patient charts within Epic and Cerner systems.

Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Required:
-
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.

Requires knowledge of computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Access.

Clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred.
