The Importance of the Role
The Director of International Business will work closely with the Head of International Business to support and enhance access to services for patients who are interested in access to treatment in countries where our product in both approved and unapproved markets Tasks will include managing coordination of inquiries with our clinical and medical teams, local site facilitation, supply management, partner management and commercial launches in new markets.

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.
The targeted salary range for this position is $180,000 - $225,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international pharmaceutical partners to ensure seamless delivery of products to patients.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to address any issues that may arise.
- Monitor partner performance through regular reviews, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Identify and onboard new partners to expand the network and improve service delivery to patients in various regions.
- Provide training and support to partners on company policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent service quality.
- Analyze market trends and patient needs to develop strategies for improving product availability and accessibility.
- Manage budgets and financial aspects related to partner agreements, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on partner performance, supply chain efficiency, and patient satisfaction to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including import/export laws and pharmaceutical standards.
- Develop and execute commercial launch plans in markets with marketing authorization (where appropriate)
- Act in complete & total compliance with all laws, regulations and Sarepta policy.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree (general business, health sciences, public policy or other related degrees).
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare related experience required.
- Strong commercial experience in US or ex-US Markets.
- Patient-focused and emotionally resilient.
- Detail orientated and highly organized.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communications skills.
- Team orientated with a willingness to collaborate.
- Strong leadership, people management, influencing and motivating skills and the ability to manage complexity where both strategic and tactical skills are required.
