Position Overview

The Director, Organizational Change Management will lead the change management strategy and execution for a company-wide transformation initiative encompassing business process reengineering, multiple systems implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCM), and major organizational design changes.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring employee engagement, adoption, and sustained performance through clear change planning, communication, stakeholder alignment, training, and cultural integration. The Director will work closely with executive leadership, project sponsors, functional leaders, HR, and external partners to align people, processes, and technology across the enterprise. The Director will also be responsible for collaborating and aligning with People Business Partners for role scope implications, new role responsibility, and accountability.

Responsibilities

Change Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive, enterprise-wide change management strategy aligned with the overall transformation roadmap.
  • Oversee the execution of change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, readiness activities, training, and adoption metrics.
  • Integrate change initiatives across workstreams (systems, process, org structure) to drive consistency and mitigate change fatigue.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Alignment

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, ensuring organizational alignment and buy-in across leadership levels.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders; build and manage networks of change champions across departments.
  • Facilitate working sessions and leadership briefings to share updates, gather input, and resolve change-related risks.

Communications & Culture

  • Lead internal communications efforts related to the transformation, ensuring transparency, clarity, and engagement.
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy that reinforces the change vision, benefits, and progress.
  • Champion culture change initiatives that align with new ways of working and long-term business goals.

Training & Capability Building

  • Partner with L&D and external vendors to design and implement role-based training and onboarding for new systems and processes.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and ensure employees are equipped to operate in the future state.
  • Support frontline leaders in reinforcing change through coaching, communication, and performance enablement.

Risk Management & Metrics

  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate change-related risks and resistance across the organization.
  • Define and measure KPIs for change readiness, adoption, and sustainment.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to transformation leadership and the executive team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in change management or transformation leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior/strategic role
  • Experience leading change across large-scale, cross-functional programs (e.g., ERP, CRM, enterprise digital transformation)
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP) strongly preferred
  • Background in management consulting or transformation program management is a plus

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in organizational change management methodologies and tools
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Data-driven approach to tracking adoption, performance, and engagement metrics
  • Experience working in matrixed or global organizations with complex change environments

Salary Range: $139,771.85 - $186,362.47

Annual Bonus Potential: 20%
