Description
Amazon's Internal Corporate Communications team seeks an experienced email expert and editor to enhance how we connect with our global workforce through targeted newsletters and email campaigns. This role combines editorial excellence with technical innovation to serve Amazon's corporate employees worldwide.
As the single-threaded leader, you'll drive how Amazon's corporate employees stay informed and connected through email. Your role combines editorial leadership with channel innovation, as you curate and produce high-impact weekly newsletters while advancing our email capabilities. You'll collaborate with teams across Amazon to curate compelling content, always maintaining the highest standard of editorial excellence. This position requires someone who can both steer strategic content decisions and drive channel improvements, ensuring our internal communications continue to evolve with the needs of our audience and partners.
Key job responsibilities
Your morning starts with analyzing performance data from yesterday's newsletter, identifying optimization opportunities while planning content for next week's editions. By mid-day, you're collaborating with Product and key stakeholders on email platform improvements, then shifting to editorial work—revising newsletter copy, working with Design on visuals, and ensuring every element meets our high bar. Your afternoon might involve A/B testing subject lines, refining audience segments for upcoming communications, or working with stakeholders to develop new content approaches that serve our corporate audience more effectively.
About The Team
The Channels and Insights team is responsible for the effective distribution and promotion of corporate news, announcements, employee experience, and employer reputation content across Amazon's internal communications channels. The team drives the overall strategy, execution, and optimization, ensuring that corporate employees receive relevant, timely, and engaging information through Amazon’s internal communications channels.
