Position Overview

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of designated local and national advertising materials including but not limited to digital marketing campaigns, direct mail, point-of-purchase merchandising materials, and other marketing assets.

Responsibilities Include

  • Upholding and abiding by established brand design guidelines.
  • Working with the Senior Art Director, team members, and Studio Content Manager to produce designs
  • Executing creative initiatives for tactical marketing across social, web, e-mail, and print channels including video and HTML5 assets.
  • Conceptualizing and creating assets based on project requests and design briefs.
  • Developing graphics, images, videos, and designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design software.
  • Preparing proof presentations to share with the team and key stakeholders for feedback.
  • Incorporating feedback and amending designs in a fast-paced environment
  • Testing approved graphics across various media as required
  • Meeting project deadlines and communicating with Studio Content Manager and Senior Art Director regarding project timelines and schedules.
  • Preparing final print files for production and working with vendor requirements or templates as required.
  • Preparing final digital files for distribution following vendor guidelines for all assets types: Image, Video, HTML5, etc.
  • Maintaining graphic files in appropriate databases and assisting with file and library organization as needed.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Proven graphic design experience
  • A strong portfolio featuring both digital and print work
  • Experience in animation for emails, social media campaigns, and digital banners
  • Must be able to translate client's thoughts and ideas from art requests into visual communications that adhere to brand standards
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, After Effects, and Premiere)
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with Figma is a plus
  • Experience building and packaging HTML5 ads for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Professional experience producing and preparing press-ready electronic artwork files.
  • Able to easily adapt to change and respond to feedback with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented; exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and make good decisions driven by high-quality design in a fast-paced, retail-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a design team while able to take initiative and manage your own projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with external vendors and PMI staff.

Foundations Of Your Career

  • 5+ years graphic/production related work at an ad agency or graphic design firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college preferred.

  • Salary range: $60,000-$68,000. Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.
