Brown University Athletics and Recreation is currently seeking candidates for the Head Coach, Men's & Women's Diving position. Located in Providence Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-D1).
This position serves as the Head Coach for the Men’s & Women’s Diving Programs. Additionally this position will serve as the Assistant Coach, Men's & Women's Swimming and reports to both the Head Coach, Men’s Swimming & Diving and the Head Coach, Women’s Swimming & Diving.
Job duties and responsibilities include coaching and recruiting, as well as administrative duties such as coordinating training, coordinating team travel, and completing compliance information.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- One to three years coaching experience at the club, high school or college level and/or collegiate swimming and diving experience; collegiate coaching experience preferred
- Ability to recruit within NCAA and Ivy League Rules
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & computer skills, necessary
- Demonstrated ability to work with and relate well to students
- Excellent sport specific technical, tactical and strategic knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment
- Basic proficiency in excel, word, internet & email capabilities
- Social media experience, helpful
- Familiarity with FrontRush and Teamworks, or similar, preferred
- Prior experience with video editing software, helpful
- Commitment to the student-athlete, passion for the game and ability to coach & motivate
- The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background and DMV check satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
