Human Resources Specialist

Key Role:

Perform a variety of routine tasks to facilitate all functional areas of a human resources department. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience working within federal government Human Resources
• Experience with staff onboarding or offboarding, leave management, terminations, recordkeeping, recruiting, employee relations, and performance management
• Knowledge of Human Resources and various hiring methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and pay strict attention to detail
• Ability to work on site in Arlington, VA
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
  
  
  

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with records management
• Knowledge of training programs, including tracking and construction, and implementation of new training modules and coordination of career transition programs
• Ability to develop position descriptions in conjunction with hiring managers and position classifiers
• Ability to create requests for personnel actions and coordinating staffing actions

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
