We are seeking an in-office, entry-level IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Norman, OK
Summary
Helpdesk technicians provide training and support for employees using company hardware and software. Empathy, professionalism, interpersonal communication, and problem solving are critical to every aspect of their work. Technicians may be required to work with end users, managers, other technicians, vendors, and other individuals to accomplish their goal of providing effective solutions to end user problems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
(note: If not certified, must be able to attain within 6 months)
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

- Interact with office and factory staff with professionalism and empathy for their needs.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to support computing needs and system requirements.
- Provide end users with technical support for computer problems on request.
- Respond to daily helpdesk tickets.
- Install hardware and software.
- Stay abreast of advances in technology.
- Update and maintain documentation related to daily procedures and operations as needed.
- Participate in morning standup meetings.
- Participate in project planning and coordinate work with project managers.
- Evaluate processes for improvement when applicable.
- Prepare and review reports.
- Purchase necessary equipment and perform inventory maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Comptia: Network+
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
