Job Description
Pennybyrn has an opportunity for a Laundry Assistant to join our innovative, inclusive, and compassionate life-enriching community!
We have an opportunity a full-time position. Scheduled hours are 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, five days per week, including every other weekend. Pay range begins at$12.50 per hour and depends on experience.
This position is responsible for the gathering, cleaning, drying, and returning of linens and personal items for our long-term skilled nursing building. This position will also perform light housekeeping within office, common areas, and the chapel. Other duties may be assigned depending on resident or team needs.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in environmental services within hotels, retirement communities, orcleaning services. Candidates must also have a service-oriented, outgoing personality with a willingness to do whatever it takes to perform the job exceedingly well, and have a passion for pride in their work.
